Was about to check my facebook on my phone just now when I realized I can't switch it on. Funny since it never happened before (bought December 2010).
A quick google got me few same trick: pressing home and start button at the same time untill the the shiny silver apple logo appears.
Problem settled at first try. Praises to Allah.. :)
